The local Sunwalkers were still awake, chatting & preparing for the next day of work that laid before them. Aikane Grimtotem was gently polishing his armor as he listened to his fellow Sunwalker converse about local rumors. "That's now what I heard. Seems Kurn is seeing one of the local Troll Witch Doctors near the Valley of Spirit." Gentle Is what thought you promised me. We were born of the same thoughts, the same way. Yet now, you begin to speak against her. She has never harmed us, never spoke of slaughter. Yet here you are, indeed speaking against her like a hyena barking at a fresh carcass. Did we not promise? Did we not swear? Did we not go forth and waste our youth? What were all those times for? What did I do to force this? The bond to the twilight is broken, and we cannot go back. Our world is not just a moon to us, and I pity myself for the fool I was for this trek. Even your warmth is useless these nights. For I will never be whole once more.

The bounded one.

The dry and unforgiving winds smack my cheek. They remind me of my faults, my hidden lost. I cannot recall I cannot breath I cannot even grasp it. I see it so far away. I am held back by chains of oath. My keepers even try to bind my hand for more labor. I shake my head and endure. Time will defeat them, as will the chains that hold me. But for now, I stand here thirsty and bloodied. No drink, food or slaughter will keep me calm. I only need my only one. And for now I am just bound to watch it.
